I was up too late last night and nikkigirl did me a solid and got mr. meff of to the bus and also score the team some food for throughout today. Which is to say, I slept in a bit.
My sleep routine has been very poor lately......but I digress.
Well that escalated quickly......
the boys swept the first four sets and ended up winning their pool 2-0 with victories over appleton east and waunakee along a good bit of domination baked in. All with one of their best wings out wiht an injury (this could pose a problem in the playoffs).
By advancing to the gold bracket, they assured themselves of a decent enough finish, but could not pull out a victory against kimberly or fond du lac. In the first match the took the first set, and in the second match they took the second set - all of which to say, they are getting close against the best of the best. I think they might have an outside shot at state.
