big shake up inside of tullyelly enterprises. earlier today amber announced her retirement as a rotation player to begin a transition into a full-time front office role as director of sports medicine.
giannis offered the following statement on the transition, “we’re excited to partner with amber as she grows within our organization, and she gets all the moneys.”
unnamed sources have speculated that this transition was less about her role as a rotation player and instead was to help her get away from calvin, currently residing in a very real version of the terrible twos. sources close to amber confirm she still loves calvin and wishes that he remains with the organization no matter how big of a pain in the <redacted> he currently is. even offering, “sometimes calvin is still pretty great”.
amber was given an immediate vacation and could not be reached for comment.
tullyelly enterprises didn’t waste any time finding new blood to fill out the rotation when they announced that quinn has been added to squad.
giannis again, “duuuuuude, buddy is a beast. at his age and with that height, he’s gonna punk these fools out on the court of life. we recently recruited him to our telegram cult and couldn’t wait to find a position on squad for him.” after a moment of reflection giannis offered an additional life lesson for all of us: “be nice to your mom and surprise her with some love – it never fails.”
welcome aboard quinn. check out the updated squad org chart if you haven’t yet.
it’s a new day at tullyelly and reports of future changes continue to burble through the twittersphere. stay tuned.
one love,
james
ps…..while kanye is a lightning rod these days (all days?), this song strikes a chord for me in multiple ways:
- it’s a song reflecting on having children
- it’s an early warning sign that ye was gonna go full maga (see first set of lyrics)
- jay slays me with a very simple self-reflective lyric (second set)
- it’s co-produced by the rza
me and the rza connect.
watch the throne also at least partially inspired the formation of run the jewels. rtj is the antidote to excess. ya dig?
ye:
